Attend a Meeting

The Roanoke County Democratic Committee typically meets the first Thursday of each month (excluding July and Dec). Attending a committee meeting is a great way to learn more volunteer activities, ask questions, and meet people. Guests are welcome and there is no cost.

The committee meetings are led by our chairperson, following an agenda, where business items are discussed including the Treasurer report, Secretary report, and Chair report. Committee leaders discuss topics related to the current election cycle, such as upcoming events, volunteer opportunities, and campaign updates. Our meetings provide an opportunity to share common political values and ideas, learn from educational programs, and meet other local democrats working toward a common goal. New members are recognized and welcome to our organization.

Members and guests can attend meetings in person or via zoom. We are proud to offer hybrid attendance options to meet the communities needs.
